Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU), founded in 1952, has evolved into a prominent academic institution in Shenyang over the past 60 years. With a sprawling campus encompassing teaching facilities, research labs, iconic libraries, and recreational amenities, the university spans 600,000 square meters. Employing 1,600 staff, including 1,060 academic professionals, SAU hosts over 20,000 students, offering a range of disciplines, including engineering, science, management, and liberal arts.

The university's emphasis on practical teaching is evident through its comprehensive system, featuring basic, professional, and general practice. SAU houses first-rate labs, some at the national level, and takes pride in its Aircraft Maintenance Center, the sole entity in China authorized to issue helicopter maintenance licenses. The campus provides 30 aircraft for student practice.

SAU has established collaborations with industry leaders like Shenyang Liming Aero-engine Group Corporation and AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, fostering a network of 50 partnerships for practical training. With a history of 90,000 graduates achieving high honors and a remarkable 90% employment rate, SAU's degrees are recognized globally.

Internationalization is a key feature, as evidenced by cooperative agreements with 170 global universities and companies. The university actively engages in teacher and student exchange programs, employing foreign teachers and hosting around 500 international students from 70 countries. This diverse student body contributes to SAU's international focus in fields like Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chinese Culture.

10+2 pass with science faculty (with maths, Physics and Chemistry) or any other equivalent qualifications

Key Achievements

The innovative spirit of the university could be traced back as early as the 1950s, when its independently developed aircraft Shenhang No.1 flew into the sky successfully. Since 1990s, SUAA has been successively awarded the Torch Research-oriented University by Shenyang Municipal Government. Its Science & Technology Park has been listed as one of the 10 key university Science & Technology parks for construction in Liaoning Province .
