Developed into "Sichuan Tourism University" in 2013, combining Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine and Sichuan Agricultural Management Cadre Institute. 450 full-time teachers. About Bachelors of Business Administration (International Trade and E-commerce)

This program is designed to develop human resources to meet the social needs for professionals to manage, conduct and design on-line international trade. Students will have all round development in ethical conducts, knowledge, physical health and hand-on skills. They will be nurtured with well educational attainment and social responsibility. The course design will provide students with needed knowledge in management, economics, laws, computer science and basic on-line trade knowledge. They will be cultivated with entrepreneurship and innovative spirit to conduct on-line trade business. They will have a good command of on-line trade, customer service, on-line store operation, internet trade logistics and on-line network marketing skills.

Education System and Academic Term

4 years for undergraduates.

The autumn semester is the beginning of each term, starting from September to next January.

The spring semester starts from March all the way to July.

For each term, there are two holidays - winter holiday and summer holiday. Typically, the summer holiday lasts for about 7 weeks. The winter holiday lasts for about 6 weeks and generally covers the Spring Festival (refer to lunar calendar). For the specific opening date, please abide by the academic calendar of the current year.

Knowledge requirements

1. 1. • Basic ethical training;
      • Grasp of basic knowledge of management, economics and laws;
      • Command of basic knowledge in electronic trading, be aware of the process of on-line trade process and essential link points;
      • Command of web-page design, development and graphic production, have the basic knowledge of web page development and maintenance;
      • Command of modern network marketing, modern information management skills;
      • Command of international trade theories and practice, be familiar with import and export processes;
      • Have the knowledge of on-line trade laws and trade negociations;
      • Grasp the methodology of literature research, information inquiry and data collection.

Competency requirements

1. 1. • Command of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, able to design and develop on-line trade system;
      • Strong ability in verbal expression, data collection and data analysis, able to solve on-line trade problems;
      • Be familiar with international and Chinese policy, regulation and practice;
      • Keep up with the theories and development of on-line trade;
      • Capable at literature review and data collection, able to do logical thinking and research.
